Technical Standards for Enrollment

All candidates must possess the physical, cognitive, & emotional capabilities necessary to complete the curriculum.

Observation: Must be able to observe demonstrations & patients accurately at a distance & close at hand.
Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively & sensitively with patients.
Motor: Must possess sufficient motor function to elicit information from patients by palpation, auscultation, & percussion.
Intellectual-Conceptual: Must possess skills in measurement, calculation, reasoning, & analysis.
Behavioral & Social: Must possess the emotional health required for full utilization of intellectual abilities.
